Assessment Session of the European Academy for Clinical Leadership

A new session of assessments for the fellowships of the European Academy for Clinical Leadership was held on 22 September in Brussels. We were happy to accept as fellows candidates from Romania and Belgium. We are slowly counting almost 80 fellows having been assessed during 3 assessment sessions since last December. AEMH 77h Plenary 2024 - SAVE THE DATE!

The 77th AEMH Plenary / joint AEMH - FEMS General Assembly will take place on 10-11 May 2024 in Berlin, Germany.

As decided together with FEMS (European Federation of Salaried Doctors), every two years the two organisations hold their general assemblies together, giving the opportunity to their delegates to exchange on their respective activities and expertise. On this occasion, AEMH will also organise elections for the board, in accordance with the new statutes adopted during the 76th Plenary in Brussels.

Statement on Shortage of Doctors in Europe

During the 76th Plenary organised on 12-13 May in Brussels, Belgium, and following a round table with the partner European Medical Organisation, AEMH adopted a statement on the shortage of doctors in Europe. The statement is aimed at raising awareness on the current shortage of doctors that the national healthcare systems across Europe experience, which negatively impacts patient safety.
